Barcino Designs is a Barcelona-based company pioneer in the creation of decorative mosaic sculptures inspired by Gaudí’s trencadís and nature motifs.

Each piece is born from an original sculpted by hand in our workshop in Barcelona. From there, each sculpture is reproduced in detail and painted by hand, one by one, making each work a unique and exclusive limited edition piece.

Trencadís is a mosaic technique typical of Catalan modernism that consists of creating artistic compositions from irregular fragments of ceramic, glass or colored tiles. Popularized by Antoni Gaudí, this technique gives life to vibrant surfaces, full of texture, light and movement.

Barcino Designs’ sculptures and designs are collector’s items and can be found in concept stores, art galleries, design and decoration stores, boutique hotels and private homes of clients all over the world.
